Case Studies

Real Systems.
Real Results.

Every case study here is a real problem, a real solution, and measurable outcomes — not mockups or hypotheticals.

01E-Commerce

Scalable Headless E-Commerce Platform

45% conversion uplift. 3.5× ROI. Built for thousands of concurrent shoppers.

The Problem

Louis Eloite, a fast-growing fashion brand, had outgrown Shopify. Complex product variants, real-time inventory sync across warehouses, and flash-sale traffic spikes were causing checkout failures and lost revenue. Off-the-shelf platforms had hit a hard ceiling.

The Solution

Designed a fully headless commerce architecture with a decoupled Next.js storefront and a NestJS GraphQL API. Redis handles cart state and session caching for sub-millisecond reads during peak load. A dual-database setup — PostgreSQL for transactional integrity, MongoDB for flexible product catalog — removes the structural mismatch that plagued the old system. Kubernetes auto-scaling absorbs flash-sale traffic without manual intervention.

Next.jsNestJSGraphQLPostgreSQLMongoDBRedisKubernetesTypeScript

Outcomes

  • Conversion rate up 45% within 90 days of launch
  • Average order value grew 20% after improved variant UX
  • 3.5× ROI within 6 months — platform paid for itself before Q2
  • Zero checkout failures during two major flash-sale events
02Enterprise AI

Enterprise Unified AI Interface

One interface. GPT-4, Gemini, Claude. 55% faster task completion.

The Problem

A mid-market enterprise had six teams using three different AI tools independently — ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude — with no shared context, no audit trail, and no way to compare results. Productivity gains were fragmented and compliance was a growing concern.

The Solution

Built a unified AI workspace that routes each query to the optimal model based on task type: creative drafting to Claude, structured data to GPT-4o, research synthesis to Gemini. Teams share conversation context, workspaces are permission-scoped by department, and every interaction is logged for audit. One interface replaced three subscriptions and the context-switching that went with them.

Next.jsNode.jsSupabaseGPT-4oGemini ProClaude 3.7TypeScript

Outcomes

  • 55% faster task completion measured across all six teams
  • 30% reduction in output inconsistency complaints within 60 days
  • Full audit trail — compliance team signed off in week one
  • Consolidated three AI tool subscriptions into a single managed platform
03Manufacturing

IoT Manufacturing Platform

Multi-tenant real-time hardware dashboard

The Problem

A manufacturing company needed a way for multiple factory clients to monitor live hardware metrics — without each client seeing another's data. Existing off-the-shelf tools couldn't handle the multi-tenant requirement or the volume of real-time sensor events.

The Solution

Architected a multi-tenant platform with Supabase Row Level Security ensuring hard data isolation per client. Built a Next.js real-time dashboard with WebSocket-driven live updates, hardware device registration, and an admin tier for fleet management.

Next.jsSupabaseRow Level SecurityWebSockets

Outcomes

  • Zero cross-tenant data leaks across 4 client deployments
  • Sub-200ms real-time hardware sync at full load
  • Reduced client onboarding from 2 weeks → 1 day
04Hardware/Software

Unified Configuration Engine

Single source of truth for hardware + software config

The Problem

A hardware startup maintained separate configuration files for firmware (C headers) and cloud software (TypeScript), causing constant sync failures, production bugs, and engineering hours wasted reconciling mismatches.

The Solution

Designed a unified JSON-based configuration schema as the single source of truth. Built a code-generation pipeline that auto-produces both C headers for firmware and TypeScript constants for the cloud layer — from one canonical file, committed once.

Node.jsTypeScriptJSON SchemaC Header Generation

Outcomes

  • Eliminated an entire class of hardware/software config mismatch bugs
  • Config change time reduced from ~4 hours → ~20 minutes
  • Engineering team now ships firmware and software releases in sync
05CMS / Web

Headless CMS & Marketing Platform

Content ops handed to the marketing team. 40% faster loads. Zero dev deploys for copy.

The Problem

OffshoreCompanyReg — a high-traffic B2B company registration platform — was running on WordPress. Every content update required a developer, every deploy broke something, and page speed was dragging down SEO rankings in a competitive, high-intent keyword market.

The Solution

Rebuilt the platform from scratch with Next.js and Payload CMS as a fully headless stack. Marketing now controls all page content, blog posts, country guides, and pricing tables through a structured admin UI with zero code involvement. Vercel ISR ensures pages rebuild in seconds after any content change, with no full-site redeployments.

Next.jsPayload CMSMongoDBTypeScriptVercel ISR

Outcomes

  • 40% improvement in Core Web Vitals scores post-launch
  • Marketing team now publishes and edits content without engineering
  • Page count scaled from 40 to 200+ in three months without touching code
  • Site remains live at offshorecompanyreg.com, handling thousands of sessions daily
06Enterprise SaaS

Enterprise AI SaaS Audit & Restructure

15s → 3s AI latency. GDPR-ready. Scalable.

The Problem

An enterprise SaaS client's AI chat feature had a 15-second average response time — leading to user abandonment. Additionally, EU customers were at GDPR risk due to data being routed through US-only infrastructure.

The Solution

Audited the full LLM request pipeline. Redesigned the routing architecture to use regional endpoints with prompt caching and response streaming. Implemented EU data-residency infrastructure on Azure and restructured the token budget management to cut unnecessary overhead.

LLM RoutingAzure OpenAIEU Data ResidencyNode.js

Outcomes

  • AI response latency: 15s → 3s (80% reduction)
  • Full GDPR compliance for EU user data residency
  • 45% reduction in LLM API costs through smarter routing
What Clients Say

In Their Words

Anonymised at client request. Details on a call.

Vijayaraghavan has been a pleasure to work with! He completed the main task quickly and correctly. Not only that, but he answered all my questions, helped me get through my initial technical challenges, made every single change I asked for with a very positive attitude, and went above and beyond to finish this on time. He *really* knows his stuff with Vercel, Next.JS and Supabase. I would love to work with him again. 10 out of 10 would recommend!
